We had an amazing time at Montfort Cottage. The hosts Paul and Jane couldn't do enough. Room was perfect with little extras, coffee tea, biscuits, hairdryer. En-suite facilities were spotless.Breakfast choices were varied and plentiful. An excellent location to walk to Bowness or Windermere (either way 10 mins) and a great base for adventures further afield.- Nick Y

I stayed at Montfort Cottage with a colleague for one night on a work trip and we honestly couldn’t fault it! Immaculately clean and tidy rooms, super comfortable, and the owner was incredibly kind, going out of her way to accommodate our very specific breakfast needs. I would recommend this B&B wholeheartedly to anyone! - Alice L
